Farm-to-table, quick, flavorful and nutritious meals that pack quite the punch. Worldly cuisine influences that fuse spices from my native Uganda, in East Africa and surrounding countries with seasonal ingredients.
I used to work with computers all day long and I'd daydream about cooking. My go-to stress reliever has always been creating nutritious meals that do not sacrifice in taste.
For the past decade, I've cooked in my mama's kitchen, my own, and at friend's places. Since October 2012, I have been teaching a bi-weekly demonstrative cooking class at The Olivia, a residential building in Midtown Manhattan.
I gained my education from the countless Food and Nutrition books I've pored over, my Food Network/Cooking Channel addiction, and hands-on experience. I cook every day and if I could, I'd probably cook in my sleep as well. Let me bring my passion for cooking in your home.
