A classical choice, stone has been used for flooring since the beginning of time. Stone really screams luxury and style, it’s an ideal option if you’re really wanting to impress visitors. It is also very hard-wearing, you won’t need to worry about it wearing out at all and will withstand whatever is thrown at it in the kitchen. However, it is a very hard surface which means things are more likely to smash when dropped and can be difficult to clean if it is textured, so just be aware of this.
