Holiday baking can be just as delicious as it ever was, with the variety of foods we have , with all the new choices in artificial sweetener, no longer does it have to be like those old saccharin days.
In all my recipes i have found, the best tasting artificial sweetener is splenda, also it measures the same as sugar, splenda is made from natural sugars, you can not tell it is artificial it taste that good.

Pies, cakes, cookies, salads, frosting, are still as delicious as ever, being healthy never tasted so good.
- 1 can of pumpkin
- replace the sugar with splenda
- 1 cup splenda
- use 2 egg whites NO yolks
- use 2% milk
Sugar low pumpkin pie spice to taste about 1 1/2 tsps. mix well pour into pie crust and bake for 1 hour, until a knife inserted comes out clean.
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup veg. oil 100% veg. oil
- 2 tbs. no fat butter
- 1 tbs. splenda
- ice cold water
Mix flour and oil until crumbly, then add butter, mix in splenda, add cold water a little at a time until you form a nice dough, then roll out on floured surface, 2 cups flour makes one large or 2 regular crust.
Fresh apples about 4 peeled and sliced on top of stove in a pot combine apples 1cup splenda and 1/2 cup of water, heat stirring until apples are soft, also instead of water you can use ,100 % apple juice cook until apples soften then add 1 tbs. of cornstarch to thicken if needed, cool slightly then pour into crust , raw crust and top with crust and bake in oven on 350 for 30 to 45 min. until crust is golden brown.
- 1 lg. can of fruit cocktail
- sugar free whip cream
- 1 tbs. sour cream for color and freshness
- you can add bananas or what ever fruits you like
