At the layer is a creamy, buttery layer, which is followed by a thick layer of caramel in the middle and then topped off with a thin layer of chocolate. I also noticed that the Caramel Chocolate Shortbread Dessert Bar by Paula Deen Baked Goods had a distinct chocolate and caramel smell.
Although I am not particularly keen on Paula Deen’s style of cooking, I do sometimes find myself craving her desserts, which always look rich, tasty and a lot of fun to prepare and enjoy with family and friends.
