Salt to taste I like to add spices to my rubs because spicy rubs add additional unique flavoring to the turkey. One trick I discovered that really jazzes up the flavor of the spicy rubs is to lightly toast the spices. It adds more flavor to them. I generally toast the spices whole, for just a few minutes in a dry skillet until they give off their strong poignant fragrant. Just an extra little tip to help make this years thanksgiving turkey the best one yet. Now start preparing your turkey rub!
