10 Gift Tips for Baker in Your Life


Do you have someone that just loves to bake on your holiday shopping list? Here are my top ten gift suggestions for them. There are products for every budget.

1.Kitchen Aid Mixer, there are several varieties of this great mixer, ranging in price from $239.00-$545.00 depending on the size and features it includes. A mixer is a very important appliance to someone who likes to bake. This can make all the difference in the way a recipe turns out by making sure all the ingredients were mixed together well enough. The Kitchen Aid mixer is available in many different colors so there is one to match your gift recipient’s kitchen d├ęcor.

2.Apple corer and peeler, this might not get used a whole lot but when its needed it would be a great thing to have, this could save a lot of time when it comes to making apple pies or homemade apple sauce, another plus is it will also peel potatoes, this alone is worth it to me. They range in price from $20.00 to $40.00.

3.Kitchen Aid Cookie sheets, they come in different sizes, are all-nonstick, and are made out of carbon steel, which makes them evenly distribute the heat, this allows for evenly baked cookies. They range in price anywhere from $9.95 to $25.00.These would be a great investment for the baker on your list.

4.Stackable Cooling Rack Set, this is a must for any baker for cooling cookies, pies, or cakes .I have found myself using the rack from my oven, this would make things a lot easier. They are available in many brands and range in price from $7.95 to $20.00

5. Rolling pin, a good rolling pin is essential when rolling out piecrusts or cookies. They are available in many different varieties and can cost anywhere from $9.95 to $150.00.
