Most of us use chicken as one of the main ingredients for cooking a lot of tasty dishes. That’s why you probably have some chicken wings stored in your freezer. But you don’t always have to know what to do with them. You just have them there, waiting. Your kids might get hungry and what a chicken wings snack or maybe you’re having guests, and you think chicken wings would be the best thing to serve. They’re easy to prepare after all.
Chicken wings are just a safe choice for any meal because they’re just so delicious. And you can prepare them in a variety of ways. Sweet or spicy, they’re so easy to consume, and you can’t go wrong with them.
It’s understandable for a parent, for example, to have chicken wings kept in the Compact Refrigerator because at any given moment, the children can feel hungry and your best bet is having something as tasty and simple to cook as chicken wings.
Maybe your significant other is having friends over at night. That would also be an excellent opportunity to pop out and cook some wings.
Basically, chicken wings are great, and you should know about some neat tricks for cooking them. And that’s what we’re going to share here. So let’s jump right into it.
Going with the Oven
- Non-stick spray
- Aluminum foil
- Cookie Sheet
- An oven
This is definitely an easy method for preparing frozen chicken wings.
Here’s what you need to do. First, you’ll want to heat the oven to reach 375°F. After that, take the aluminum foil and put it over on top of the cookie sheet, then spray the non-stick spray on the sheet.
All you have to do then is put the chicken wings on the aluminum foil and let them cook for half an hour. You’re done.
Going with the Microwave
The Microwave is probably the easiest and fastest method for preparing frozen chicken wings.
- A plate (usable in a microwave)
- Oven Mitt
For this one, you’ll have to place the wings in a circle on top of the plate. Turn your microwave on the highest setting, and you’ll have your wings done in 8 minutes. Don’t forget to use the mitts to get them out of the microwave and serve them. Safety first.
Going with Brown Sugar
The requirements needed for around 10 wings:
- 1 chopped green onion (here’s our recommended onion choppers)
- 3 tablespoons of Olive Oil
- Half a teaspoon of salt
- ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- ¼ teaspoon of allspice
- 1 tablespoon of onion powder
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons of black Sugar
Here’s how it’s done: You’ll have to preheat the oven to a temperature of up to 400°F, you can get that number correctly by using an Oven Thermometer. Take a ziplock bag and put the wings inside of it. Pour the olive oil from the Olive Oil Dispenser and shake the bag. After that, take the spices from your Spice Grinders and the brown sugar and mix them in a bowl. Half of the mixture should be put inside the ziplock bag which you will want to shake again. Then add the second half and do the same. The wings should now be placed on the cookie sheet. Slide it into the oven and let it be for 20 minutes or so. After that, turn them to the other side and let it cook for another 20 minutes.
And voila, just spread some green onion on top and serve them on your Dinnerware Set.
Sour and Sweet
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- Half a cup of water
- Half a cup of ketchup
- A can of crushed pineapple (that has been prepared using a Pineapple Corer)
- 2/3 Vinegar cup
- 2 teaspoons of dry mustard
- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 2/3 cup of dark brown sugar
What do you have to do? Well, first of all, you’ll have to preheat the oven as always. Crank it up to about 425°F. Take a shallow baking pan and cover it with aluminum foil, then use a cooking spray to spray it. Put the wings and the pan and slide it into the oven for about 25 minutes.
When the time is up, get rid of the fat in the pan and add some pepper and salt from your Salt and Pepper Grinder Set. Mix all the ingredients into one of your Sauce Pans. Stir the mixture constantly on medium heat until it gets glossy and thick.
Lastly, pour half of the sauce on the wings and lower the temperature to 350°F to cook them for an additional half an hour. After that, you’ll; have to flip to the other side, pour the rest of the sauce and put it back for another half an hour. That’s all you have to do. Serve and enjoy.
The requirements needed for 12 wings:
- Celery sticks
- Blue cheese dip
- Some dashes of Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce
- A stick of butter
- A 126-ounce bottle of hot cayenne pepper sauce
- Frying canola oil
The process is the following: You’ll have to preheat as usual up to 325°F. Then fill a heavy pot up to three inches with canola oil and heat it at the same temperature. Put half of the wings in the oil and let them cook until they get a brown look (that means around 5 minutes). Take them out and let them drain while you repeat the process for the other half. In a saucepan, put some butter and the cayenne sauce together and let them warm up on medium heat until the butter is molten. Add in the Worcestershire and hot sauce and let them be until the mixture starts bubbling, then you’ll want to turn off the heat.
For 15 minutes, put the wings in the oven after pouring sauce on top of them. The last thing is bringing out the celery sticks and the blue cheese dip, and you’ll be done.
The requirements needed for 10 wings:
- A dash of garlic powder
- A dash of ground black pepper
- ¼ hot sauce cup
- ¼ cup of butter
- Deep frying oil
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- ¼ teaspoon of paprika
- Half a cup of flour (use a Flour Sifter for measurement)
The salt, flour, cayenne pepper, and paprika will need to be mixed in a small bowl. Evenly cover the wings with the mixture and then put them in the refrigerator for about an hour to an hour and a half. Take the oil and heat it up to 375°F in a deep fryer. Try to fill it up to about of depth. Over a low temperature, mix the garlic powder, butter, pepper and hot sauce in a saucepan. Stir until you get a blended mixture and then turn off the heat. For 10 to 15 minutes, you’ll want to fry the wings until they become kind of brown. It all ends with adding the hot sauce to the mixture when it’s all done and giving it all another good stir. There you go, that wasn’t that hard.
Orange and Honey
The requirements needed for 6 chicken wings:
- A dash of garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon of ground ginger
- ¾ teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- ¾ teaspoon of lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon of honey
- 3 tablespoons of orange juice
- Half a cup of flour
- 1/3 cup of ketchup
So finally, to get this done, you’ll want to do the preheating at about 350°F. The wing tip isn’t needed so you’ll have to remove it and cut the wings to three sections. Coat the wings in four after covering them in ketchup. Place them in a shallow cooking pan which you should coat in cooking spray first. Let them cook for 20 minutes.
Mix the remaining ingredients and use the mixture to brush the wings. Cook them until the liquids in them start running and frequently spraying them with the juice mixture, preferably homemade one utilizing a Juicer. And that’s it!
