Whether you’re trying to build your immunity up a bit for the flu season, lose weight, find a perfect coffee replacement pick-me-up combo, or just looking for some tasty new drinks, these juice recipes will be your answer.
You see, autumn fruits and veggies are not just tasty, they are also incredibly healthy. So, every fall, I change my routine up a bit, to adapt to new options. I start cooking healthy recipes, I add at least two healthy seasonal juices or smoothies every day to my usual lime/lemon water health booster, and I try to make all these recipes more likable for my kids.
Why? Well, it’s all about what you eat and drink in the end. You can remain completely healthy throughout the flu season if you ingest enough vitamins. Once you get used to juicing on a regular basis, you’ll know exactly what you need to combine for the best effect.
I’ll try to explain main benefits of my three favorite fall juices through these recipes, and I hope it will help you to understand what each autumn fruit and veggie can do for you.

1. Fall Immunity Shot
Every autumn season, I’m terrified of the flu. Everyone around me gets the sniffles, kids often come home from school with a fever, or a sore throat, and I have to stay on my feet.
Carrots, pumpkins and apples are here, and this is the best time of the year to eat as much of them as possible. If you make this juice, you will not enjoy just its amazing taste, but also the health benefits.
1 cup pumpkin (seeded, and peeled)
2 carrots (scrubbed, not peeled)
2 green apples (peeled, and cored)
¼ teaspoon cinnamon (or more if you really like it)
½ lemon (without rind)
A pinch of salt (Check out our recommended salt and pepper grinder sets!)

Push all ingredients through your best juicer. If you want to sip it all day long, dilute with 1 cup of water.
If your kids are not thrilled with how the juice looks, use your best electric spiralizer to make apple and lemon decorations for their glasses – it helped me.
2. Rainy Day Energy Booster
3 carrots (scrubbed, not peeled)
2 pears (cored)
2 cups red grapes
½ bunch kale
Toss everything into your juicer and juice them all according to the manufacturer’s instructions that came with your juicing machine.
3. Autumn Weight-loss Assistant
If you finally decided to take your health and figure into your own hands, autumn is the perfect season for it. If you’re looking to shape up a bit, this juice will become your best friend. It is colorful, delicious, and filled with key nutrients that can help development of healthy muscles and promote weight loss.
1 beet (washed, and peeled)
1 ½ pears
4 celery stalks
5 collard leaves
1.5” piece of ginger
Wash them well, and then throw all these ingredients into the juicer. If the juice is too thick for your taste, dilute with a bit of water. Drink the same day.
Yes, I know, these recipes seem tasty enough, but why would you use them for purposes I recommend them for?
I’m not a nutritionist, or a dietitian, but I spent hours researching autumn produce and how it benefits health. It’s not just good to know because of these juices, but also when you are trying to make new recipes, and you want to make them extra healthy.
Pumpkins contain antioxidants, vitamins A, B and E, as well as potassium, zinc, calcium, iron, copper, and phosphorus. For this juice, you can use sugar pumpkins, or the Japanese ones. As most Asian fruits, these are packed with tasty goodness. So, pumpkin is there as an immunity booster.
Carrots contain minerals, vitamins A, and B, as well as a whole load of life-prolonging carotenes. So they are in this recipe to give you lovely, glowing skin, and to reduce symptoms of arthritis and rheumatism. Great thing about these is the fact that they keep their benefits even after preparation.
Apples are filled with vitamins A, and C, but also with powerful antioxidants and potassium. This makes them great for lowering cholesterol, cleansing our organisms, boosting energy and controlling the bowel. All of this healthy goodness stays in them even after baking!
Pears are not just sweet fall treats for you and your kids, but they are also full of fiber that helps your digestive system, potassium that helps your heart and muscles to work normally, and vitamin K that helps your blood to clot. Also, they are among 18 fruits that can boost your energy levels.
Red grapes are great for skin because of a compound called resveratrol that can be found in them. Next to that, they are filled with anti-inflammatory quercetin, so they can help with allergies.
Kale doesn’t just add green color to your juices, it is also full of iron that helps proper liver function, powerful antioxidants that help protect against cancers, omega-3 fatty acids which help battle asthma, arthritis and autoimmune disorders, as well calcium that prevents bone loss. All in all, kale promotes a healthy body and a healthy metabolism.
Celery is great because of its high levels of molybdenum and vitamin K. It helps improve blood pressure, prevent dehydration, and it can improve eye, skin and cognitive health.
Beet is a veggie rich in iron, natural folic acid, nitrates, magnesium, betaine and betacyanin – a powerful antioxidant. It means that it can lower your blood pressure, prevent dementia, and boost exercise performance.
Lemons provide vitamin C, calcium and magnesium, along with some powerful antioxidants. Lemon boosts the immunity, fights heart disease, and promotes healthy bones and teeth.
Cinnamon is one of the most popular spices today for a good reason. It doesn’t just smell amazing, it is also great for our circulation, and it has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antifungal powers. It can alleviate cramps and PMS symptoms, ease asthma symptoms, energize and soothe.
