Just a few quick and easy recipe ideas to get your grilling season started.
Hash Browns
- package of frozen hash browns (I microwave mine on high for 4 minutes while still in the vacuum sealer bag)
- two layers of heavy duty aluminum foil
- spray foil with cooking spray
- place hash browns on foil
- add a few pats of butter
- add a seasoning mix, I use Emeril‘s Essence
- close foil place on high flame for about 20 minutes
Baked Potato
- slice a potato about 3/4ths along the longest direction (Here’s some awesome spiralizers to use!)
- fill slice with butter and a slice of onion (Here are some great onion choppers for you!)
- wrap in foil
- place on indoor grill on high
- cook until poked with a fork feels soft
Moist Hamburgers
Add a little ranch dressing to your hamburger before making patties, this will add flavor and moisture to patties. The ranch flavor isn’t distinguishable.

Salmon
- cut salmon into serving sized pieces
- in a glass measuring cup melt 4 tbs of butter
- add to the melted butter, about a 1/4 cup of salmon seasoning (I buy mine at Sam’s Club)
- paint this mixture onto one side of the fish, if the fish has skin on, place skin side down for grilling
- place fish directly on grill, cook until fork tender
- If the fish seems like it might crumble, you can wrap it in foil
Corn on the Cob
- purchase corn in husk
- soak in water
- place directly onto indoor grill
- remove husk after cooking or just pull down and use as a handle
BBQ Onions
- Peel Onions
- slice onions into 1/4 inch or less slices with onion chopper
- place on foil
- gently cover with your favorite BBQ sauce
- close foil packet and place on grill for about 20 minutes
Grilling Chicken
- marinate chicken in a zip lock bag with Italian Dressing for at least 20 minutes or as long as over night. Note: you can also use a vacuum marinator! They work similar to a vacuum sealer, but are meant to better marinade your food! You can also inject the dressing with a meat injector.
- Place chicken directly on grill
- discard zip lock and any remaining liquid
- Grill chicken until done

Veggies
- Basically any kind of veggies, some suggestions: onions, peppers, squash, mushrooms
- In a large bowl, toss sliced veggies with Italian Dressing
- Add minced garlic or onion powder to taste (Here are some great garlic presses for you!)
- Transfer to a double layer of foil and wrap into a tight packet
- Cook on medium heat for about 45 minutes to an hour
BBQ Chicken
- While many people cook their chicken directly on the grill, I use a disposable foil pan
- Place chicken in pan on grill on medium to high heat
- cover with BBQ sauce
- Cook until juices run clear
- Very Moist, grilled flavor but no burnt BBQ Sauce!
